VKxx – Make-Up Air Ventilation Damper System

The ZONEFIRST Make-Up Air Ventilation Damper System is designed to provide outdoor make-up air whenever an exhaust fan or ventilation hood is operating to replace the exhausted air by introducing make-up air into the building.

The system is a kit consisting of three basic components, the RDSC (normally closed) motorized damper, which opens to allow outdoor air into the building, the SPS05 pressure sensor switch to sense when the exhaust fan or hood is operating and a T24 24VAC transformer to power the damper and pressure sensing switch.

When the exhaust fan or hood is on, the pressure sensor switch will sense the increased air pressure and open the RDSC damper. When the exhaust fan or hood is off, the pressure sensor will sense the decrease in air pressure and cut the power to the damper motor. The damper blade will spring closed against the damper’s internal gasket, ensuring a tight seal.

FIVE (5) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY on all 24V. Dampers and Controls and Bliss IOZ Systems ZONEFIRST warrants its products to be free of defects and to provide trouble-free operation for a period of Five (5) years from the date of installation. The warranty is limited to the cost of the product and does not include claims for labor or consequential damage. Prior authorization must be obtained from ZONEFIRST before returning any product. Products returned under warranty and found to be defective will be replaced or credited. Items returned within the warranty period that are found not to be defective and those items that are out of warranty are subject to a minimum repair or inspection fee. All returns must be sent freight prepaid with the return authorization number clearly marked on the packing slip. Returns without prior authorization will be refused. All items damaged in freight cannot be returned, and a claim must be made with the freight carrier.

LIFETIME Limited Warranty on Plug-in-Play™ Dampers and their respective Zone Panels. The warranty requires the return of the product for inspection before the credit for the replacement is issued.

RETURNS: All returns must have prior authorization and are subject to a 25% re-stocking charge. Custom and Special order items may not be returned for credit. Returns are for credit only and can only be used towards future purchases. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
